Ed's 50th. He insisted on the tiara. He earned it. π
Would you travel thousands of miles to get a free pink tractor to mow your lawn?
Sure as shit Ed would!
(Not present for photo shoot: purse, belt, matching pumps, Ed's Thai boyfriend KiKi)
Still got it. π€
First class behavior. π
Happy Birthday, Tootsie! π
Ed (middle) holding court at his own birthday party. The matching shirts were his idea. π
Ed Heil β engineer, loyal friend, hydraulics genius, Bosch veteran, and the only man in recorded history to travel thousands of miles for the opportunity to ride a tiny pink tractor at his own bachelor party in front of everyone he knows.
Known to his closest friends as Tootsie β a nickname that requires no explanation to anyone who's met him, and absolutely no explanation to anyone who's seen the photos.
Ed has deep knowledge of hydraulics, drivetrains, hybrid systems, and apparently also of lawn equipment in unconventional color schemes. A true renaissance man.
He attended his own wedding (2008), survived his own bachelor party (2004), and has been a trusted friend and collaborator ever since. The tractor was pink. Ed was pinkier. We were all better for it.
We love you, Tootsie. Happy birthday. ππ
BREAKING: Local engineer Ed Heil has been certified by the International Committee on Pink Tractors (ICPT) as having the "most committed personal brand." According to the ICPT's official statement: "Ed didn't just ride a pink tractor once. He has lived the pink tractor lifestyle for over two decades. This man is not a passenger in the pink tractor experience β he is the pink tractor experience."
No word yet on whether Ed's acceptance speech will be delivered while operating lawn equipment or from a very high heel.
